Want to thank everyone again for the prayers.

Dad is back home from the hospital.

He has been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. With the help of VA Home Health and medication, we are able to keep him home for now. Unfortunately, there will come a time, likely around 6-12 months, that he will need to be moved into a long term care facility where he can receive 24/7 supervision and care.

For now, I'm going to cherish the days we have together at the house.

I came thisclose to bumping this thread with an inquiry about countrydad a few days ago. my pop was born on July 27 1950 and Wednesday (or Tuesday?) it triggered me to think of countrydad
