If we keep it strickly between these two:

• Burger: BK (Bacon King).
• Fries: tie
• Nuggets: McD
• Beverage: tie
• Breakfast: McD
• Opening Hours: tie (both are the best since both are open 24 hour where I live).

Even with McD "winning" 2 out of 6 and 1 more than BK I would take BK since burgers are more important to me.

If I had to choose, McDonald's as their fries are better and the Big Mac is better than the Whopper. Haven't been to McDonald's since they discontinued Chicken Selects (except for a couple times after someone gave me a gift card) and have no idea when the last time I was at Burger King was. There was a BK maybe 1/4 mile from the house I grew up in, but I'd walk 1 mile in the opposite direction to go to McDonalds instead. The only thing I ever really liked from BK was when they had the Big King back in the early 2000s.

McDonalds for me any day. We do not have Burger King in our country as far I know but when I was in the US I tried BK and while it is very good, too, it just doesn't beat McD in my opinion.

Push comes to shove, if I could only have 1, I'd opt for BK. Mostly because you can get things there that you can't get other places (primarily onion rings, although their current onion rings suck compared to how good they were in the 80's....). But the flame-broiled taste of the Whopper really hits the spot some days.

Speaking of things you can't get that you once could....whatever happened to curly fries?

It feels like it was everywhere until 15-20 years ago.

I think Arbys still has it, but I could swear others had it too, including grocery stores which had those frozen ones.

Curly fries at Arby's are still very much a thing, and they're fantastic. Arby's is my fave fast food joint, actually.

Things that you can't get that you once could @ Burger King: a veal parmesan sandwich. And it was awesome as heck. Maybe the best fast-food sandwich item ever. But it's obviously never coming back....

The only fast food options I have where I live is McDonalds and Subway.

Jack in the Box has them too.. and I think they buy from the same place, they taste exactly the same.

Yeah Arby's curly fries and roast beef are amazing. Terribly unhealthy, but I guess that goes without saying. If they were soggy, you could just pop them in the oven at home and crisp them back up.

Speaking of so good but terribly unhealthy, you know what I loved was Long John Silvers. The fish fillets laying lusciously in that bed of battered bits. So good.

McDonalds should win for beverages, because all drink sizes at McDonalds are $1. The best burger between the two is the Whopper though, so I do agree with the burger aspect.

I use to go to Long John Silvers' with my grandparents and get the chicken with hushpuppies. I know its was crap for me, but good times.
