I have chronic ear plug problems and for some reason that stuff never works for me.

Yawning and burping while tugging at the side of my face seems like the only thing that works. Allergy medicine probably helps, too.

But the valsalva maneuver never does it for me, nor does drinking through a straw while plugging my nose. It might work for some, we're all different, but for some weird reason air burps help me the most

Yeah, I don't want to deal with all that which is why I would take the train.

I have never been on a train, although I would love to. I just never had the opportunity.

I have flown twice, both times in 2004. Once from Florida to Pennsylvania, and once from Pennsylvania to Florida. Was it bad? No. Would I ever want to do it again? No. I am scared of heights and constantly have Final Destination in my head.
