Would you rent a hotel room just to "live" on the beach?
Meaning just getting a room on the boardwalk just to take in the fresh air and look over the water. I've always found it to be pretty chill.Last Movie Watched: Morbius (2022).
Last TV Show Watched: MARVEL's What If?...(S3:E7).

No. I need AC. No AC, no money from me.

Growing up our family went to San Diego two weeks out of the year every summer and rented a small beach house. We still do it every couple of years, but because of work and such we aren't there together for very long. I can only stay for a couple days, some of our family members have passed (my dad, my grandma, etc.), my older sister is married... anyway the point is we don't have those two week vacations anymore.
But yup, a beach house literally right on the board walk. It's very open and amazing. I miss those vacations.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

I lived it for almost 6 years. The view is my profile pic.
Most of the time it’s is great but had to deal with constant blackouts and typhoon threats throughout the year since the area is not really developed. At the same time it made you go with out and enjoy nature and disconnect.
Hoping I can open the resort before the year is over but if not I can still live there and just live the simple life.
There are a bunch of foreigners who do the same there.

Re: Would you rent a hotel room just to "live" on the beach?
For the view, that would be nice.
To live on, probably not.
If it's a beach house, that's one thing, but I hate hotels for many reason. It's nice to be at during trips as a "rest stop", but not a long term thing. Doesn't matter if the view outside is of another hotel, or a beach.
And then the whole "first world problems", such as wifi/cable and proximity to grocery stores and other things.Comment
