Richard Attenborough as Santa is probably one of the best in any movie.

I can't find one of my fave short scenes from the movie online (the one where he's getting ready for his first day as the 34th street Santa, getting into the real Santa suit and walking out into the "magical fantasy land" while a cool chorus plays in the background), but this scene is also cool when you realize he actually is speaking sign language to a dead kid who didnt know this was going to happen.

Piled the kids who were in their jammies and my wife into the truck, hit up Tim Horton's for four hot chocolates and took everyone for a drive to look at Christmas lights. It's the first time we've done "The Stewart Annual Christmas Light Drive" in our new town. Trina and I have been doing it for over 12 years and the kids are starting to look forward to it. It was a nice evening.

Does anyone else do something similar?

      3 more days.
I am the lesson after the fall.

That was a big Christmas tradition for me too.

Just driving around the city and looking at lights while a radio station with Christmas music was playing.

Usually did it right after dinner, so by time the drive was done there was enough time to do other stuff too.

Tree is still standing but decorations are off.

I did take the outdoor lights down though. Had a mild day just after Christmas and took the opportunity to get the spotlight stakes out of the ground.

Now the temperature is like -25 Celsius and I'm seeing my neighbors struggling trying to get theirs up. It's like watching King Arthur trying to remove excalibur from the stone.
