What's a game you wish would be made but know it may never see the light of day?

This doesnt include games that were cancelled or games that are in the preplanning stages. These are games that are in everyone's minds that they'd want to see.

My list:
Mario Kart in the vein of Smash Brothers.
-Imagine seeing Snake and Sonic racing with Mario in the same game

A proper horror fighting game with multiple IPs
-If they can give us DLC for Freddy, Jason etc they can give us a fleshed out horror fighting experience. It would sell.

More Sega sports titles
-They did one which revolved around tennis but that was back during the Xbox 360 days. Imagine Team Sonic vs Team Streets of Rage in a 5v5 basketball game.

An alpine skiing game with licensed skiers and a career mode. I'd even take it without licensed skiers

A PvP centric MMO, subscription based, semi-hardcore loot, defined classes, and no microtransactions.

I want more superhero IPs, but only I would find enjoyment in those.

A Green Arrow/Hawkeye game similar to the Arkham games.

An Aquaman game similar to Arkham (Atlantis could be an underwater Gotham).

A Flash game, but that would be the most difficult.

A PvP centric MMO, subscription based, semi-hardcore loot, defined classes, and no microtransactions.

In the NASCAR reference, Dirt to Daytona is still my favorite title in that sport solely because of its career mode. Have you ever given it a go?

It is still available for PS2 and Gamecube, but the PS2 version was much more enjoyable and seemed to perform better when I played it sometime last year.

You can also emulate the PS2 version on PC, which I won't elaborate on for TOS reasons. Just know there is also a mod for it that makes it more recent, if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah I love Dirt to Daytona. That and the old Thunder (I think that was the name) are my favorite Nascar games ever. If they made Dirt to Daytona 2024 then I would be all over that. Those old PS2 games are just a bit dated at this point.

Square-Enix or (pre-EA) Bioware quality RPG where the primary combat is a deep martial arts/kung-fu hand-to-hand combat (vs guns or swords or magic). Like Virtua Fighter or Soul Caliber level of depth.

Jade Empire is such an underrated game.

I started a play through last year and it's really enjoyable. Controls are obviously super clunky, but it's just such a unique concept in the gaming sphere. I loved it. Jade Empire 2 would be amazing...with the old Bioware team.

An actual Mafia game that makes you feel like a mobster. Let me be a part of a crew and work my way up to Capo. Let me collect protection money and run rackets. The Mafia games from 2K are nice and all but you don't really feel like a mobster. GTA tried it also with Liberty City stories and you also don't feel like a mobster much there either.

I completely forgot about SimEarth. That would be cool.


I'll also take a Geo-Political simulator game that lets you take command of a country in a modern or semi-modern setting dealing with the economy, civics, foreign relations, military, research, holding your seat of power, etc. Kind of like Supreme Ruler or Power & Revolution. You know...just without all of the bugs, broken mechanics, and other things that the geo-political simulator game market has never been able to get fully right.

A video game based on The Quest For Fire faithful to the movie could be great. Especially if complete with M rating.
