Firefox + Adblock = Never worry about popups again

firefox users need to do the following...

install adblock from the mozilla website

import the filter found on the first page of the thread

I'm really dissapointed in OS for this one. That had to be the worst pop up I've seen in some time (just as bad, if not worse, than a porno ad'-lol). It even crippled my online job apps' just as I was finishing them up this morning. Now I have to start all over.

OS has no control over it. UGO, the ad company puts on whatever they feel like.

Part of the hosting deal for the forums is to run ad code hat we have no real control over.

Steve's decided we'll cut the ad code out for now, until we get a resolution to this issue. You shouldn't be seeing winfixer anymore, as I think I've cleared it all out.

Please let me know if you continue to see the ad.

Yes, as the guy who runs the network that OS is hosted on I have no problem with Steve removing the code while we ensure this horrible pop up is removed. I am very sorry for the inconvenience this caused people yesterday.

I appreciate all ya'll are doing to try to fix it, and I also understand that its not your doing either. I was just frustrated a lil'. didn't mean to put anybody on blast.
