XBOX Obsolete?

Whats up Steve, I just want to know if microsoft and the major sports software companies were going to continue to support the original xbox and if so for how long. I currently own two PS2's and was going to trade one in for an original xbox. The sports titles are better on xbox and that is mostly what I play. I am amazed at the xbox 360 but dont want to invest in it right now. Please shed any light that would help me on this decision.

The Xbox will continue to produce quality games, for the foreseeable future. I don't know how long that will be. Right now there just aren't enough people w/ 360's to justify making only 360 games. Sony hasn't come out w/ the PS3 yet, so the PS2 and Xbox game makers will continue to make games for those consoles. Who knows for how long, but I'd guess another year after the PS3 is launched.
