Does OS do this? Do banned users' names get deleted from the member list?

I've only deleted Users that have zero posts. I'm not sure how Fossen handled it.

The accounts stay around, but from what I can tell, they don't show up in the members list or in searches of the members list.

It's not deliberate; I think it's just the way the forum software handles banned users.

We don't actually delete any accounts of active or banned users.

So for instance a poster has zero posts and has only logged in once in over a year(and that one time being the day he registered), you could delete him and his username would be up for grabs????

Yep. I want my username to be Husker instead of husker9. I get tired of that 9 sitting there.
