Edit Function Time Disabled

I know that the edit function disables on posts after some time... why should this have to be the case in teh Dynasty forum? I want to update my schedule/results post but I can't because it is disabled... Just wanted to put that out there.

I'm guessing it's either:

A) Not possible
B) Not going to change
C) Posted about before and I should have done a search

I'm pretty sure the edit time is universal, meaning I can't adjust it for one specific forum. I'll check again today.

I think it's original purpose was to avoid people abusing the system, and editing posts in the middle of an argument.

Yeah, but you can edit posts up to like a week later. It would be cool if the edit time were longer in the dynasty forum though. I remember the last dynasty I did, wanting to keep the first few posts of the thread constantly updated but being unable to do so. Not really a big deal, just a nuisance.

Yeah, the Dynasty threads are really the only ones that need editing done in the long term. Oh well.

I've gone through this same thing in the past and was told that the edit function only lasts for so long, which meant new posts.
