Chat issue

people posing as producers seems to be happening regularly, it can get really annoying if a real producer enters and is barraged w/ "are you real?" questions. is there anything that can be done to stop this? maybe making it so registered users have use their forum name in the chat, it wouldn't get rid of all the posers, but it would help

I agree Steve...it's getting ridiculous in there today. I just hope the real producers do not show up until later tonight when the kiddies go to bed. They are going to get a million "are you the real producer?" questions...and I bet it drives them away.

Something has to be done.

The main problem is we have limited control over the chat room in dealing with these issues. Same stuff happened last year and will happen again next year. The main thing the producers can do to help with this problem would be to let Steve know what time they want to set up chats.

Or they can set up a chat like we had with the MLB 2004 Lead Animator where people post messages and they reply to them.

yes it is getting old. I am staying off the chats, too many fakes and too many jackasses on lately.
