Subscribing to threads automatically......

I don't like the fact that any thread that I post in that I'm automatically subscribed to that thread. Is it possible to only have a subscription to the threads that you manually select to subscribe to? It would be much easier to manage my threads that way. Thank You

Go into your user control panel, and pick edit options. Once there scroll down a bit until you see "Default Thread Subscription Mode". Select Do Not Subscribe. Then each topic you post in, you can select to subscribe when you reply.

Someone else might be able to add more or correct me, but that's how I believe it's done.
