After a certain amount of time you cannot edit a post anymore.

Even if you have been editing it? I'm trying to keep the standings of our AHL league, and would like to centralize it into one post, instead of adding posts whenever I update the stats / standings.

Do you know what the time frame is?

I believe the thread you're thinking of is Giggas asking if mods could change the time until a post becomes un-editable.

I'm pretty sure it's 7 days from the original post. However, the description on the Admin control panel isn't exactly thorough.

Can you possibly edit it to unlimited time because it's really annoying starting many threads for the same purpose?

I could, but we aren't going to do that. Basically, we use the time limit for administrative purposes.
