I have not been able to find any talk on the boards about the absence of the Podcast since June so im going to give my 2 cents here.
Im not sure what happened or why the podcast is gone but it should be brought back. It was really the only place to get a podcast that was strickly about sports gaming. When Tj ran the podcast it was great. He then disapearred and a month later it was gone. There are 1175 people online on this site right now and I assume many of them have Ipods or MP3 players. There should be an effort made to put together a strong podcast on a weekly basis that comes out at the same time on a weekly basis. OS was really on to something but for reasons I am not privy to it is gone now. There is a void in sports gaming podcasts. The other sites that do them are made by a bunch of kids that only touch on the games but do not get into them and talk about them as hardcore gamers. All you have to do is listen to the podcast to the lead up and release of The Show 08. It was great to listen to the podcast give info and talk about the game up to the release. Imagine a podcast about Ncaa Football, Madden 09, or NHL 09 that is dedicated to the game up to release. So there is my 2 cents...I may have to start one myself.
