    Problems pasting from Word

If I write something in word and then paste to the forums, I get weird things with it.

    IE

    >>>>office dookiemowf has poop breath <<<office (and a smiling face etc will pop up too)

I would like to write in word when posting because I don't want to get caught at work. Any idea why this happens?

    Thanks,

Not sure, try using a different font in word.

type in Word, paste into notepad, then paste into here...it's keeping the fonts for whatever reason (some html editors do that too, drives me nuts)...I find that notepad works as a good buffer. Or just type in notepad.

Why are you typing posts into Word in the first place? Just curious.

You saved my life. I was pulling my hair out trying to cut and paste stuff from a Word document to the sites posting template. Got nothing, tried notepad, like you said but hated the font. Went to Wordpad and "bingo!" Now I'm rolling on my little project. Much Thanks, Brian
