Editing The Thread TITLE

I have always noticed this about OS. The thread title never changes after you edit the change in the title. It just changes the title of the first post.

Here is an example below. I messed up when naming the title of the thread but then I tried to edit the thread title. I clicked advanced and put in the name of the new title. But the only thing that changed was the words right ABOVE my first post.

Is there any way you can fix this?

I believe mods can only do it, but I'd like for us normal people to be able to change as well.

Yea I don't see why that is a MOD Exclusive Feature. We are humans and we make mistakes. We should be able to correct them.

Not our call but in the meantime you can PM any mod to change a title for you if you want.

Uhh, I made a thread last night. Decided I wanted to change the thread title, so I went into the advanced edit and changed it. The change is reflected in both places. Not sure what you're doing wrong.

You can also change the title right after you make the thread by double clicking on the thread. I think the limit is 2 minutes

No when I change the title it changes the title of the first POST and not the entire thread. I tried it within 2 mins.

You have do it within a certain time frame. You can't go back hours later and change it. I think that if someone makes a post, you can't change the title any longer.
