Rare for me to side against the powers that be, but I would have considered a game to be "hot" until something else came along. My guess is that baseball games will be the most popular thing out there until NCAA Football hits the shelves in July, and as such deserve their own threads to keep the clutter/confusion out of the baseball forum.
Of course, the powers that be get to run their site as they want to. Being the mature fellow I am, I can deal

Just as a reminder, here is how the separate forums were initially announced:

As you see this is a new forum called hot games. We plan to put games in here about a week or so before it is released and will leave it here for a week or so. This way we can keep the baseball forum flowing with information on the other games and of course for those wanting to discuss real MLB issues.
Also just because it is a separate forum all of the TOS still stands and please try not to make repeat posts. Also if you have no interest in the game then do not post here. This is for people who have the game or are intrested in it.

Just remember that Steve is a neat freak. He does not want a forum full of hundreds of different forums on the main page.
Now hopefully UBBthreads will one day implement SUBFOLDERS. The day that happens the "hot games" are removed alltogether and we simply use a subfolder for each game and the rest of the forum can be used to discuss everything else.
