    Suggestion...

First, I found this site about a month or two ago and love it, but have a quick suggestion:

    - I think there should be 3 sets of forums:

    - Sports Gaming (Boards for each sport there)
    - Pro Sports (Boards for each sport, talk about sports that doesn't have to do with gaming)
    - Hot Games

Once all those Baseball "Hot Games" posts got dumped in with all the general baseball posts, there is a TON of confusion going on. I think this would be good for every time you get rid of a "Hot Games" section, plus, I think one board for one sport (gaming and pro talk) isn't enough. For instance, when Football season comes back along and the games are not hot anymore, there will be one forum for people to talk about 5 or 6 Football games and then to discuss all the different things going on in Pro Football.

Finally, one more thing...maybe down at the bottom there could be one "Fantasy Sports" board for all the Fant. Sports questions?

Thanks again for the great website!!!

    Re: Suggestion...

Bear in mind that OS just started implementing "Hot games" when the baseball games came out. In the past we had no such function and all posts were made in Pro Baseball (etc). The owner of the site prefers a simple front end with a limited amount of fourms. Therefore we came up with the "Hot games".

This is a temporary fix and once Subfolders become available (we are hoping version 6.4 as that is the rumor) there will be no need for "hot games". Untill then this is the system we will use.

Subfolders will be cool, but until then I agree with the current course of action. Having a Hot Games forum for every game out there would get too cluttered in the forum main page. We've survived having just a 'football' forum during football season, I think we can handle baseball season just fine

Someone had mentioned that that huge problem with putting each game into its own board causes alienation from other gmaes and sometimes an 'elitist' attitude towards other games.

We try to bring the community togehter and encourage everyone to basically learn how to get along with others even if you dont agree with them. This helps you, as an individual, to learn how to discuss topics with others without turning it into a flamewar.

You cant please everybody. Oh well.

True, but when you think about it, there really were only two legit football titles out there vs. four baseball games.

Good point. Not to mention the added trolling that happened on occasion. One thing the separate forums did eliminate was the need for the requisite "What game is this for?" post.
