A Cool Idea I had

I was thinking, It would be pretty cool if we could get little online trophies for OS Tournaments and Leagues. So this got me thinking, For every sports game, there should be a Officially Sanctioned OS league, Instead of alot of little leagues. Winners get a trophy which would displayed in the Banner Area.

Then it really clicked, A good way to entice people to donate money would be to make these Trophy banners exclusive to OS Donors.

I like the idea, though I don't think it should be limited to just donors if the prize is purely a graphical trophy displayed in one's Arena.

There would need to be some sort of vetting process to determine members who would stay with the league through its completion, and also a clear determination of a winner (who wins the first championship? best record after three seasons? some sort of overarching points system that takes into account all accomplishments, i.e. championships, individual player awards, leading the league in particular stat categories...?)

another thought I had today, i think it would be pretty cool to have a page on OperationSports.com dedicated to sanctioned OS leagues and Tournaments.

I would love to see OS give out a little recognition for OS-centered tournaments and leagues. What I'd like to see is little trophies under our avatar where our PSN, XBL, etc logos are. It'd be cool too see little trophies there that people earned for league wins or just something good you do around here at OS. It takes a big committment for people to play though entire leagues or whatever. I do know Steve will make a mention of it on the OS homepage if you want your tournament/league winner recognized, at least he did for one of our Hot Shots Golf tournaments.
