Minor nit regarding the new UH logo. Apparently the originally released version is missing one of the bevils.



According to our athletic dept this is what the logo should look like.

What's up with the odd piece of white where the "U" and "H" connect? Shouldn't it be red?

There was a fair amount of discussion on that when the logo was released; according to our AD the answer is no. The white triangle is formed by the outlines coming together.

Right, but wouldn't that make it part of the background (which is red)?

I don't think so, after all they admitted that the H was missing it's bevil.


This was debated at great length over at uni watch a couple weeks ago. Some felt the triangle should be done away with entirely:




Others felt the triangle needed to be tweaked:



Imo neither of those are appreciably better than the triangle version.

I need a higher resolution version of the first one if we're gonna use that one. It'd be much too small like that and I can't stretch it at all.

Click "User CP" in the menu row below the banner ad then select "edit avatar" from the list on the left. Note that as a non-supporter you can only choose from the list of team avatars provided.
