Thanks Steve! This is tremendous. I can go back to being less productive at work again!

Engineer has reconfigured TapaTalk and it works! Feel free to login and try it out. It is slow and he's tinkering with it, but it probably has a bit to do with the slowness of the forums overall. Just a heads up.

One of the better additions to Mobile operating systems I must say!

Clearing the cache definitely helped me be able to stay logged in on my computer using chrome. Still can't use my phone to access OS at all though, which is how I do most of my OS reading/commenting.

Safari doesn't solve the problem either.

Posts after April 8 are still not appearing, and I have been unable to change my avatar 😭 Just a heads up. It looks like the wait will be worth it.

I have 3 issues when I sign in from my chrome browser on my phone:

    1) When I try to quote a post, instead of pushing me down to the quick reply with the quote embedded, it makes me go to the top to “post quote”. It also keeps adding all of the quotes and I can’t get rid of them. This just started in the last 2 days or so.

    2) All of my posts give me an error when I submit even though they end up posting. This has happened since the switchover.

    3) None of the smilies are showing up, they just have the question mark / bad link image.

EDIT: The specific error I get when posting using quick reply is:

    “Error while saving content:

Error information: " 500 error Internal Server Error"“

This doesn’t happen when I use preview first.

1 - copy and paste directly into the post
2 - use the "share photos" camera button up and to the left of the new post UI
3 - use the Upload attachments / upload from URL buttons below the new post UI
4 - use the "image" control in the new post UI

Curious if there's a difference between the 4. Might be worth adding a picture all 4 ways and seeing if one compresses more than the others?
Wait, we can just copy and paste images directly into posts now?

Awesome!!!! And a nice segue into this post.

I noticed that for stickied threads the down arrow link to the 1st unread post isn't showing up and (for this thread at least) The last post is still showing as a post from last night even though many more posts have been made since. I just took the screenshot a few minutes ago. Seemed like it was working normally up until OS wallpaper was applied.

Edit: Even after making this post it stills that post by thedude from last night as the most recent but switched from the 'L' avatar (which isn't even thedude's) to my 'B' avatar.
Edit2: Cleared data for this site and that didn't fix it.
Edit3: Actually, it looks like it might just be this thread that's bugged. The Off-Topic thread in the neighborhood still showed the down arrows for 1st new post and correctly updated the last post. Though it could also be that the OT thread was stickied before the changeover whereas this thread is new and stickied since the changeover. Not sure if any other new sticky threads have been created since 5/1.

Seemed to be faster this afternoon, but it's back to being slow for me, when I'm logged in, using Safari and Chrome on my MacBook and Safari on my iPad.

If I'm logged out, it seems fine speed-wise.

Appears to have kept me logged in on Google Chrome this time! Appears that issue has been resolved. Annoying, but if I press web version and then unclick it that resolved the jumbled mess of the forums with everything overlapping. Seems to be working now.
