It would be great if we could report a blog

My only issue kinda is when people post multiple blogs that are only a quick sentence or two and have 2 to 3 blogs at once on the homepage.

I usually see what blogs are up on the "starting 5" when I get to OS, and one user will dominate the arena with multiple blogs of nothing.

User blog #1 "Wow! I scored 89 points in Madden today!"

User blog #2 "EPIC! I just scored 96 now!"

User blog #3 "Madden is to easy to score, I like NFL2K better."

I don't know, I kinda like reading what people gotta say but at the same time I'm not gonna hunt 'em down either. Kinda put your thoughts together and make one blog rather than constantly take up front page space with little updates.

Just me ranting.

I agree, to me seeing the same user have 3 blogs on the starting 5 homepage is annoying. Could you set up a time limit in between posting blogs? Kind of like how there is a time limit in between searches?

Or they could just code it that a user can't have more than one blog on the homepage.

That kind of annoys me too - Essentially using their blog like a message board. Totally defeats the purpose. Reminds me of people on myspace posting poetry somebody else wrote as their "blog" - WTF.

Just another way to bastardize the meaning of the word blog. A word which I hate, but still...

Honestly... the whole "blog" thing is something I'm just starting to ignore. People are using it as a message board. If by chance you take the time to write something that you think might be of use for somebody, it will be out of the top 5 within minutes replaced by one liners.... Just not something I'm gonna use anymore.

It would be pretty sweet if he actually wrote something of substance for once on the message board or his blog. Or maybe packed his 100 little thoughts into two blogs a day and like 10 posts rather than exponential amounts of each.

But hey, he enjoys abusing the system to enhance his e-peen.

And, yes, I'll take a warning for writing that if need be.

I agree that the system needs to refined moving forward Helli so the good stuff is pushed to the top. Sometimes I'll sticky a blog to the front page if I notice a really good one, but I think something more needs to be done in the future to help the general blog-o-sphere thrive more.
