In the last week or two, it seems the red number count of new posts to a thread you've read is not updating downwards. That is if you read a thread, it should go down to zero but it doesn't. It will go up though.

Currently this is a beta stage as we decide to test it out for the new features.

The B = Beta and unfortuantely this issue is one of the little things that were not resolved until the final release which so happens to be available now.
When OS converts over to the new setup it will be using the final version 6.3. I would update this one but it has been something we have lived with for at least a month did not want to shut the forums down for a couple of hours and only last a week or so.

You can use that to expire your cookies and might help the situation. You will have to log back in after using this. -
