The thumbs "could" save bandwitdh if people just clicked on the images they wanted to see. Of course if they wanted to see all of them then it would use more.

Right... but then you also have to factor in the extra work to make the thunbs for Steve, plus Eddie and Mark would have to redesign the templates and .asp to show thumbs.

Re: Screenshot galleries idea
How about labeling each link so the viewer could at least know what the screen shot is and decide if they want to open it up. That would not take too much time and would not require additional bandwidth etc.Comment

I agree that it would be a better way to do things, but wouldn't it take more bandwith or memory?

Yes a thumbnail is simply another image you have to display that takes more bandwith. Not to mention the extra work of making thumbs of the image. Since the images are pretty large there is no way we would make thumbnails loading of the actual images. Poor 56K guys would start
I always thought clicking on that right arrow was pretty simple, but that is just me.

Re: Screenshot galleries idea
we can use the same images and use an active x componenet i know of to shrink the images to thumbnails in one page, and show the original ones when you click on them. this however will be considerable work. We are looking at ways to make that image thing accessible to everyone.
THanks for the ideas,

I think they are fine how they are now. It's easier to hit the next button then to click the thumbnail, see the screen, then hit back to go back to all the thumbnails to click the next one.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment
