Getting Booted often

I log in usually 1 time during the day. Normally my account stays open but lately after say 10-15 minutes it times out and I have to log back in. I'm using the same CPU,no changes to anything else.Any help with this would be great.Its getting kinda annoying having to keep logging in every 10 minutes.

Cick the remember me box by the login.

Are you being serious or sarcastic?...I'm just saying I've had to log in about 50 times the past few days.Is there a setting that I need to change?

serious, click it, it'll fix that right up for ya.

Here's a clearer answer for you.
The next time you have to log-in there is a small box next to the log-in that says. "remember me" if you click that box it'll fix the problem.

Ya, the "remember" me box is only in the Forums. So if you are logging in from the home page, there is no "remember me" box.

So then he should be sure to log-in from the forums, yeah? Or, is there another option or setting on the homepage itself?

Ya, saving the "remember me" in the Forums, will save it on the homepage as well. We just haven't coded the "remember me" on the home page.

Actually, the homepage is automatically set to "remember me".

I'm guessing you have OS bookmarked? Just ensure that your bookmarked address definitely uses www.operationsports.com and not another version (e.g. forum.operationsports.com).

Wierd, that never worked for me, until I just tested it.

I did that and it still times me out after a few minutes. I'm not sure whats up with that but I'm going to try my desk top to see if it has the same issue.

I had the same issue a while back but I checked that little box and it fixed it. I wonder if deleting cookies, temp files etc... would help.

okay I just checked with my desktop(no problems there)...I think it is an issue with my laptop.any more suggestions?

There's definitely something quirky going on here. I hadn't manually signed in in over a year until recently... now I've done it 3-4 times over the past week. I check "Remember Me" every time and it doesn't help.

I agree with this. Its happened enough random times but not consistantly enough to figure anything out. Hasnt happened to me in about 2-3 days.
