Suggestion for Steve and OS mods...

Would it be possible to add some icon to a thread title to know if you have posted in it or not? I usually post a couple of things in threads, but then I forget what threads I posted in. It would be nice to see some sort of icon next to the threads that I have posted in. Does this make sense?

I am not aware of such a feature or modification but have two suggestions that would do a similar thing with one extra step.

Option #1



Out beside each post you will see that icon. By clicking on it you put a reminder to go directly to that post on which you clicked the image above. The reminder shows up in the profile (top navigation).


Option #2

At the bottom of the page (once inside a thread) there is a link at the bottom called Favorite Thread! (toggle)

What this does it put a link in your profile (located at top navigation). This should take you to the first post each time or possibly the last post you were at? Which is why I prefer post reminder.


All we ask when you use this feature is make sure that it is not mailing you each time there is a reply. Our host despises that option. This can be disabled byt going to

profile

Subscribe / Unsubscribe from receiving forum posts by email, change message notifications, etc.

The on the first line select NO...



Give em both a try and see what you think.

What I do is just find any ole thread I posted in, click on my name and go to "see all of my posts". Then I check and see weather or not I've posted in a given thread.
