Need Help. How do I create still pictures?

I've seen people in the madden forum do this before as a video came out and then minutes later have a still picture from the video. I'm guessing this is what this is called.

Do I need to download something to do this or could someone instruct me?

Edit: If this is the wrong forum sorry and If so could a mod put this in the right place.

I'm guessing people just print screen then paste it into Photoshop/Gimp/Paint and save it as an image.
