In the past i didn't have the funds to donate so i couldn't change it way so i just made a new name, is it possible to get into trouble for having multiple names on your ip? Nothing malicious was done when i made a new account i just wanted a name change.

I thought that rule was for people who create multiple names and use them to cause trouble,i don't even use those names anymore, i change the email to some random weird email and never log into the account again that way the name gets deactivated(i think) therefore i don't have the name anymore.I just wanted to get this out of the way because i like this forum to much and don't want to get banned.Comment

Super Mods are orange.
Admins are red.
Donors are blue.
Special Members are another color (I wouldn't mind if a mod edited in the correct color)

I don't think the rule is in place solely to prevent those who cause problems from creating multiple usernames because that can cause a slippery slope.
There has to be a uniform rule in place since "causing problems" can become subjective.
If anyone could just keep creating new account when they felt like it, it could become monotonous.
