Will you get into trouble if you make a new name?
In the past i didn't have the funds to donate so i couldn't change it way so i just made a new name, is it possible to get into trouble for having multiple names on your ip? Nothing malicious was done when i made a new account i just wanted a name change.Tags: None -

Pretty sure that's against the ToS. -

Yes, that's against the TOS as whitesox said.
EDIT:
I say contact a staff member and let them know what you're old account is so they can ban or delete the account.Multiple Accounts/Accessing Other Accounts
At no point may one user hold or have access to more than one account at Operation Sports. If you wish to create a second username, or change your username, you must contact a staff member or e-mail the site administration at [email protected].Indianapolis Colts

Re: Will you get into trouble if you make a new name?
I thought that rule was for people who create multiple names and use them to cause trouble,i don't even use those names anymore, i change the email to some random weird email and never log into the account again that way the name gets deactivated(i think) therefore i don't have the name anymore.I just wanted to get this out of the way because i like this forum to much and don't want to get banned.Comment

Re: Will you get into trouble if you make a new name?
"If you donate you can get a new name, if not you picked it you live with it".I didn't know that was the motto for changing names if i'd known that i wouldn't have made a new name and given up all my post count and risk getting banned for any kind of trouble.I never made any kind of trouble though, i like this board and i don't wanna get banned.
Question ,what color are the mods, they're so many different ones it is kind of hard to differentiate them?Comment

Re: Will you get into trouble if you make a new name?
I don't think the rule is in place solely to prevent those who cause problems from creating multiple usernames because that can cause a slippery slope.
There has to be a uniform rule in place since "causing problems" can become subjective.
If anyone could just keep creating new account when they felt like it, it could become monotonous.
This is nothing against you, just an observation.Comment
