So I have the free version of Tapatalk on my Apple device and was wondering if I should buy the full version? I'm really enjoying the free version and wasn't sure if the pro version is worth it feature wise. I don't have a tablet so the tablet functionality makes no impact on me. I read some of the reviews on the App Store and they're kind of mixed opinions. Also you guys sound like your experiencing problems. Wanted to know what you guys think I should do.

No major problems here, I had been using free but what finally made me go to pro is more ads showing up.

Feature wise, how much better is it? Also I haven't seen an ad yet. Do they pop up after a while or something?

I don't see any difference that I am taking advantage of other than no ads at the end of threads on some forums. They are functionally identical.

I've had no problems paying 2-3 times for this app over the last few years and chalked it up to supporting the developers of one of the most useful/used apps ive ever used on a portable device.

I've been having trouble loading this forum on tapatalk. It takes forever to load with the refreshing icon only to not load the latest posts.

I just got an ipad yesterday and I've run into an interesting issue. When using Tapatalk on my Android phone after I read a thread the title becomes kinda grayed out to indicate no new posts.

With Tapatalk on my ipad the topic font stays bold after I read a thread. I was just so used to being able to see if there was anything new posted or not by looking at the title of the thread.

Anyone have any insight on this?

The thread titles will all be in the same font, there is a blue dot to the left of unread threads though.

On the mobile versions (at least) there is a setting for that. From the top level TT menu go to settings ---> topics unread style.

Have you checked there on the iPad version?

Those settings don't even exist on my version. I'm using Tapatalk HD. No settings for that there.

I have Pro too, and the same there.

This kinda sucks.
