Re: what happened to the Daily Other stuff posts?
I complimented Steve on his Twitter about how I enjoyed the daily stuff. The next week he pulled it down.
I would check it from time to time and enjoyed it. It's hard though to maintain something like that on a daily basis. Maybe do a Mon/Wed/Fri thing?Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Re: what happened to the Daily Other stuff posts?
It wasn't really hard, it was just that it didn't get as much "chatter" as I would have liked. Made it seem as though, nobody read them and I was doing it for myself, LOL.
Would like people to comment on the links, what they liked or at least the QOTD. Somedays, it was maybe 1 or 2 people. So it just easily made it feel as though it wasn't read or at least not very interesting.
Even commenting on what the next QOTD would be, would help.
Hard to come up w/ those things, every day.
On that note, if there are other things you'd like to see in the "Other Stuff" daily post, lemme know. Will see what I can do.Comment

Don't worry Steve, I'll spam the hell out of them for you.
As for other things. Would be cool to have links to reviews for current HDTV's and other such home theater tech. Video game peripherals like wheels, etc.
Maybe try to get interviews with athletes who are also gamers, etc.

Or even fellow OS'ers. I've seen somehwere dub deep around OS a thread that is saved for OS member interviews. But I don't think I've seen anyone interviewed yet. Could be good for an other stuff item on Friday and do one a week.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Yeah Steve, we liked it. I agree (second time in this thread) with this post, verbatim.

Re: what happened to the Daily Other stuff posts?
Steve,
I would give it its own forum. 75% of the people I know on OS don't even go to the hmepage/frontpage. They save the forums as a favorite, or bookmark it. If you gave it it's own sub-forum.....I bet you would see significant traffic in there.Last edited by bluengold34_OS; 03-28-2011, 08:39 AM.Twitch - bluengold34_osComment

That is a very good point. I think there would be more interaction in a forum. Just have the OS links go in there like other stuff that are on the front page.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment
