Trying for new sub forum

I sent a PM a week ago to the person listed for setting up subforums. It is for MLB The Show(SCEA baseball, soon to be MLB 11). I posted on his chalkboard asking if he received it and I understand he may need time to look at it.

Only reason I ask is just in case someone else is handling this now. I saw other people who may have tried with no response.

I am currently running the OS Vets league that I took over in the summer for Utexas. As far as the 3 leagues under online leagues, we are the only ones to still be going all year. In our last playoff series before we take a small break going into 11.

We would like to get a new forum for our MLB 11 league and be able to sticky threads, plus whatever actions a commissioner may have.

Millenium is the one you need to contact and you cant sticky threads unless your a MOD, being a commish of a league doesnt open this ability nor anything else that you cant already do.

Thanks for the info. Yes, Millennium is the one I contacted for the sub forum. I didn't know about the sticky being only a MOD ability(though normally that's what I would have thought). I just made an assumption since all the other subforums have quite a few sticky threads.

Hopefully it's something that can be done by request as mainly the rules thread plus 2-3 others will need to be the first thing new people read before joining. Plus can't hurt to be up where even current members can refresh their memory.

Whatever the situation, still hoping to get a new start for 11 and rename the league. This forum we are using now is cluttered with stuff that won't be needed as we move forward.

If its a thread that needs to be stickied I can help as long as it doesnt turn into an everyday thing as Ive done this for other commish's as well. Just be patient and wait for Mill to get back to you about the subforum though as hes the only one that can do it.

Yep np on waiting and thanks. I just wanted to be sure I was going about things the right way.

If I get the forum I will hold off until I have our base of important threads ready to be all done at once.

Sub forums for newly released games are not allowed to.be made until two weeks after the game releases. This prevents the creation of league forums that go inactive shortly after inception.
