    Malware?

I using Avast and 3 or 4 times when I entered a forum, the warning sign went up for Malware.

I don't have the picture of the ad, but I did write down the address.

This was about 7:15 central time. It's now 7:55 pm and it hasn't appeared since that time.

    Just an FYI.

    Re: Malware?

    Just got the same thing.

EDIT: I have AVAST as well. Only came up on Firefox, not on Chrome.

Steve, yes I was using FF as well.

I haven't seen it reappear in over an hr. I did a quick scan on the computer and no files were infected.

          Re: Malware?

When I was at work yesterday I got a malware infection as well. It was yesterday afternoon when I went to the Non-Sports Gaming forum. All of a sudden the Java application logo popped up on the screen and the browser closed and it had been infected. I even had AVG and Malwarebytes on the computer and it disabled them but I was able to fix it. I don't remember if I clicked on a particular thread or not.

This may or may not be related but my computer just blocked this threat while I was in the OS March Madness Uniform thread in the OS Neighborhood forum:

                Re: Malware?

Avast keeps block OS for me saying that Malware was detected(it updated today and started doing this). any OS page, not just the forums. completely blocks it. "HTML:Script-inf" listed as the infection. but it's also block EA sites as well(at least the online dynasty site), so I don't know. It blocks it using Firefox 4 and IE8. more than likely a false positive.

From what I can tell this is an Avast issue from a bad update, need to Disable webshield
