Sorry, I'm not sure who is in charge of the PM boxes but for some reason my PM box limit was switched from 200 to 50 over night. Now I can't receive or send any more PMs without deleting a bunch of stuff. Was this on purpose or just a mistake?

A mistake that may be staying.
We were editing some messaging settings, and put a wrong number in the "Non-Supporters" messaging settings. It may or may not be staying at 50, nothing is set in stone.
But for the immediate future, I would suggest cleaning up your PM box.
