    MLB.com Links

Why does this always happen? Something wonky in the word filter?

The filtered part in the URL, and the part that ruins the link, is (dot)js. And it's strange that there are four asterisks when only 3 characters are getting filtered.

Wasn't sure if you guys were aware of it, but it's been like this for quite some time.

OS blocks (With the word filter) . js. From what I remember, spammers were putting javascript code in the body of their posts (Which isn't good) so OS put that in the word filter. MLB website uses that in their links, which is why it gets filtered out.

Ah, an unfortunate side effect then, I guess. I get why javascript has to be filtered, though.

Ya, spammers and spyware were filtering in. Just use tinyurl or something similar (URL Shortening) instead, then use that link.

Steve, that would be a great post or sticky to have in the Pro Baseball discussion forum.
