When reporting hateful posts?....

Do I simply hit the exclamation symbol on the lower left hand corner of the post, write MY OWN description of why the post should be reported in the "Message" box, and then hit submit???

Or is the actual thread and post number (and/or the post itself) supossed to be included in the "Message" box?

Just hit the exclamation and a brief description. When get a direct link to the post.
