    Quick PC question

Whenever I open a new window ex: Kazaa, Windows Media Player, IE, etc.... and I maximize it, it covers the taskbar at the bottom. I can manually resize the window but its a pain in the butt and I'm sure theres any easy way to fix it. Can someone help please??
