If you have been using the internet for 10 years then you at some point started on 640x480 and moved up. 1024x768 is the standard no matter how many times you say [censored you naughty boy] [censored you naughty boy] [censored you naughty boy] [censored you naughty boy] [censored you naughty boy] or [censored you naughty boy].

Heck my monitor is almost a year old and starts at 1024x768...

Hey either way, the forum is much more readible now. And no I'm not the king of internet, so lets get the "Speed Reply Posse" off my back for a moment. I merely suggested that the forum was too wide and I suggested it at noon today, and look how the topic has taken off in a matter of a few hours. I obviously wasn't the only one who thought so, and lets get right down to it, the plain fact of the matter is, the forum was too wide, and I've never had to change my settings in 10 years to view anything on the internet...so it's ridiculous to do so now for OS. I appreciate the cooperation with me and a few others. We should lock this thread and move on now. I am.

being serious here a moment, I've read some books on webpage design, and I believe that by now, the 4th or 5th generation of websites, 1024 x 768 would be the standard you'd go by. You used to design for 800x600, but that was 3 or 4 years ago
