    Re: Forum is too wide

C'mon BD, put the lights back. Why take them off for one person and the majority of us like it?

Brent left the building for a while - now the whole forum is so much narrower!

The forums are wider because of the images. Good job now that the lights are gone...

Okay guys, I'm not the only one who had a problem with the wide forum. Look at the first page of this thread, and you'll see I was backed by 4 or so other posters. I don't mind the lights, is it possible you just put too many in? It just seems odd that my settings, which seem pretty standard to me, should work on every site I goto EXCEPT the Operation Sports Forums. But maybe I'm crazy. Maybe that's the way the internet should be, revolve around OS. Nevertheless, I seriously doubt this is worthy of a "vacation". It simply started off as a question to why the forum all of a sudden after 2 years of being fine, went to a wide screen look. Then a few other posters had the same question/concern. If it means that much to everyone else and OS, then merely a suggestion, but put the lights back and make them and OS happy, and I and a few others will fight through it. No need to cause a bunch of [censored you naughty boy] over some lights. I merely suggested that the lights might have caused the problem. Can we all get along now? I apoligize for not being civil and resisting the change of my settings for one site of about 30 that I visit per day. I'm sorry.

I am gonna agree with mr KungPao in that the forum did widen as i remember having to resize the browser. Didnt bother me one bit to do that.

That said, most computer users today are normally on a 17 inch monitor ( 16 inch viewable) or better. 1024 x 768 IS the standard for most windows desktops ( heck even mac and unix desktops as well); especially now since running at the higher resolutions doesnt reduce the amount of colors you can see(32 bit color). We try to accomadate the lowest commom denominator but at the same time we do not want to sacrifice certain features, etc that we can show those who have higher resolutions.

Even then, lets say you do find changing the resolution to a higher setting makes your eyes squint, there really is no shame in using the scrollbars at a lower resolution.

It's christmas time people!!! get with the damn x-mas spirit!

Eternal Salvation or triple your money back!

What the hell?! Dude complains and yet could fix his own problem but refuses! He hasn't even donated to OS. Cot'dammit AIN'T THIS A MOTHAF****!!!!
