Like I said, I can honestly tell you that the current Staff does not read PM's. However, remember the TOS states:

"Also note that the Board Rules extend to all areas of the Operation Sports Message Boards system, including but not limited to Private Messages, Chat Rooms, and e-mails to the staff."

None of the current staff views other users' pm's. I feel that its an invasion of privacy. Now if law enforcement needed it, then we would have no choice. Or if we have some suspicion of something that could harm someone. This would have to be something that is just beyond normal internet banter. And even then we need to talk amongst ourselves to see whether it is necessary. This hasnt happened.

well glad to know that none of the "current" staff does it as I had a "former" staff member go through mine in which I referred to him as an a-hole.

It's just that I was curious, because I remember bdoughty mentioning he used to delete PM's every month because of its usage of the site's bandwidth, so who was to stop you guys going one step forward. Not that I have something to hide, but it's a PM for a reason. Anyways, like someone mentioned it was probably better to PM a mod, rather than attract attention to myself by asking this in the public.

Acutally, P2K, we've had to do it once I believe because illegal things were being passed through the PM system. This was a while ago though.
