I see your occupation is a desktop/network technician. I was wondering how the pay is in this field? That is what I am currently going to school for and was wondering how the job pays.

No the stars are the rating people give you. Click on a persons name, then at the bottom of the screen it takes you too, you can chose a rating. 5 means your a great poster like me, 1 means your Skilz.
