Probably one of these guys you see commenting at Gametrailers about a sports game video. Some of these guys can't stand sports games.

Might be related, might not, but I got a notification from yahoo that my account was being temporarily disabled due to possible unauthorized activity (I didn't think it was legit until I got auto-signed out a few minutes later). That's the e-mail I use on OS, so it could have been our little hacker friend trying again with e-mails he probably pulled from OS. I've only had to reset my email password a few times in the last several years, so it was a bit of a surprise.

The timing is the only thing that makes me think it could be related. Anyway, might wanna change your e-mail passwords, guys.

Edit: Looking at my sign-in history tells me that no one actually got into my e-mail, but someone was probably trying to brute-force it, hence the lock.

Yahoo as a whole has always been fighting the war with hackers.

I've had my account on there since I was 12 and I used to play in and admin for a few Yahoo Pool Ladders/leagues and for a while there was a problem with stolen IDs.

They even made programs you could download to your PC that was basically like a key generator for Yahoo IDs. People were getting **** snagged left and right.

I sign in occasionally and mess around. My password is still 15+ characters with numbers and mixed capital letters.

Yeah, I know Yahoo has a large target on its back for hackers. That's why I was only mentioning it as being a possibility - it could easily be anyone else other than our OS hacker.

Regarding their security, this whole thing prompted me to go look at their security settings and I see they have the dual-layer sign-in option where you have to verify an unrecognized PC through a mobile phone. Definitely going to use that from now on.

Yeah, I just found out that I'm missing like 1 page and a half from my Royals Dynasty thread. It's not the end of the world but it means that I'm now going to have to go back in and redo all of those updates. Worst part is I'm going to have to figure out where I left my story at!

I kind of doubt it since you said they disappeared Friday night and the hack supposedly occurred Saturday night, though I see your thread regarding their disappearance is one of the ones that disappeared. Don't know why you have such a problem with the 2.0 skins though. I think they are nice and clean and very functional, whereas the marginless 1.0 skins looked somewhat tacky with no margins. OS I'm At Work 1.0 is still available though.

Yeah the thread I made about it was deleted.

Can't stand the margins, the top toolbar always being there, usernames aren't bolded, each post is "separated", time and date is all messed up with the "AM/PM" on a different line. and a few other things I noticed.

I'm using 1.0 at Work right now, but that has it's problems too. Mainly, that it's too light/bright and no avatars. 1.0 SciFi was the perfect color scheme and setup for me.

I use the osatwork.com link and the at work skin while I'm at work.

It took some getting used to, but it helps with load times.

I forgot people use different skins. I couldn't imagine seeing OS in a different "light" with one of those other ones.

OS 2.0 Default has been mine for quite some time now, though I did have SciFi 1.0 prior to that.

Oh, and usernames are bolded in Default, though they aren't in SciFi 2.0.

If someone was banned during the "missing post" time, does this make them unbanned now, since according to OS they never committed the offense?
