    Thanks. My computer started messing up and slowing down a few days ago and I think I got this. I just downloaded the security update. Does anyone know if it takes the sasser worm off of your ocmputer?

        If you just downloaded the security update from the M$ website, then that just closes the hole in your computer so the worm can't get IN. You can go to http://securityresponse.symantec.com/ and download a utility that gets rid of the worm.

            If you just downloaded the security update from the M$ website, then that just closes the hole in your computer so the worm can't get IN. You can go to http://securityresponse.symantec.com/ and download a utility that gets rid of the worm.
