    Why all the locked threads?

    Why are there so many locked threads? Why not let people discuss if they want to? If people don't want to read it, they don't have to.

    Too much moderation is always a bad thing.

          I disagree. I believe in the concept of the signal-to-noise ratio - if there is too much static, it is impossible to discern the signal.

          And since I'm the one in charge, it's my opinion that counts. As bk says - you are free to open your own boards where anything goes .... though since gameFAQs and IGN already exist, it'd be a bit redundant.
