I am having troubles with these forums... maybe I can get some help?

1) Will there be any other layouts in the future? I know it is new and everything is being worked out but in the future, are they coming? I mean layouts such as OS Lite or I am at work, etc.

2) I liked the way when I clicked a topic I got to the newest one. Now I have to set it up myself in my profile where the newest posts are at the top and older ones are at the bottom. Any way to get it the way it used be?

3) I think this one is my main trouble. In the old forums, if I only wanted to visit one of the forums, I could go in, know what threads I had read and which ones I hadn't. Now everytime I leave the forums and come back I don't know what I read because even if I didn't go to a certain mini-board (ex: Pro Football) it still shows that I have read all those posts when I really haven't entered the board.

This will take some getting used to but thanks for all the hard work. I am sure I will figure it out sometime. Thanks guys.

We will work on the different stylesheets once we iron out/tweak the forums.

There should be a little icon next to the link of the thread. That should jump you to the next new post.

legend updating is being worked on, so when you go someplace is updates you and tells you when another post has been made

there is a blue icon right before the thread title, which will take you to the latest post

Yes - I am looking into this.

OK - This may be tricky

I am researching, but basically vBulletin just handles stuff differently than UBB does. it works - just not as you're expecting. After a certain amount if inactivity is when the icons refresh ... I am looking into our options in order to get this functioning as it did on UBB, though.

How can I get it to stop emailing me at my normal email if something is new?

Go to User CP, then under user options, a section about email notification, turn it off.

I like the look, but miss the old look. It was much easier to find new posts IMO and the colors are just a little funky. But I'm sure this is still "beta" and you guys seem to be working on it. At least the forums are up.

Two feature I liked from the old forums and am wondering if they will come back?

1. Show how many new posts there are in a thread since the last time I read it.

2. When I didn't visit a category lets say Pro Football the posts were still new and there was a Gold OS logo. Now when I log on and say I haven't been to Pro Football, the posts are considered read and I have a silver OS logo, does this make sense?
