Game Review Score

Im pretty sure this probably was brought up at one time or another but i think it would be better if the Reviews were out of 10 rather than 5. The reason i say this is because 5 is such a small number that many of the games you guys review are a 3 or 4. Personally that is a vague score. It would be better to have a rating system with 10 so there is a wider range of number for you to rate so the readers know more clearly if this game is good or not.

Yes this has been brought up a bunch of times in the past (old scoring system was based on a 100 point scale, I believe). Look at what the review states and not the score.

Scores have caused too many problems in the past with people fighting over how their game got a 98 and another game got a 97 and it wasn't fair etc....

I'm sure if you searched you could find another thread on this and the reasons, but that's what I recall.

you do realize that a 10 point system and a 100 point is only separated by a multiple of 10.

ie 7.8 x 10 = 78

I agree devilsjaw. Points mean nothing to me...I don't see IGN or Gamespot rate a game at some value and know it's good. I read the review and find out if it's what i like. Even then, a review is someone's opinion, but you can infer much from them, to give you the information to make an educated opinion. That's what reviews are to me, information.
