Mill can i please put in a request to be a mod? atleast i can monitor the UFC forum from trolls. I am the only one spotting him and reporting him over and over. I keep telling the mods and when they slack off he floods the forums bad with videos of fishing time.

He slowly killing the forums again because people don't want to deal with his crap.

I will be a damn good mod. Give me a chance, PLEASE!

Asking to be a mod while accusing us of "slacking off" is probably not the way to go about it.

I don't know what mods you are telling because I haven't seen a reported post from you in quite some time.

Please remember that this is not our job, we aren't here to monitor the forums 24/7. We need help with reported posts and even then you have to understand we might not be able to respond right away.

Now that you have accused us of slacking off, I take that pretty personally. Sunday is my day with my family.

what's the point in reporting a post if no one even bothers to mod the forums.

The ufc forum is gettin flooded so bad with video spam in each thread it's slowly destroying the ufc forum.

Because if you don't report it those of us who don't venture into those forums regularly can't act on them.

I went back to June of last year to see if I could find your last reported post and still couldn't find one.

We've received plenty of reported posts in that time frame so it seems as if you may be doing something wrong.

We have received several today, none from you.

I'm not trying to insult but it's true.... you have one of the most hardcore trolls you will ever see stalking a single person and a community for the last 2 plus years.......and on the other side you have one of the most hardcore loyal member of the ufc forum (Bigg-Cee) who literally sleeps in the forum 24/7 in me trying to be a mod to keep and eye on it and get no support from the main people on OS.

Im just trying to look after the place which i enjoy posting in. I've said this over and over. That's why i want to be a mod. I know this troll and everything he does.

You've also been banned multiple times because you couldn't follow the rules and went out of your way to blatantly disrespect the rules of this site simply to see how far you could push things.


If you can just figure out how to report posts we can take care of it.

That's the multi-quote button. The report button is the triangle with an exclamation point in the lower left corner. (next to the light that indicates a poster is online).

You're shown a page where you can explain why you're reporting, then just submit it.

You'll probably get some kind of error-looking page afterward, but even if you get that page, the report should go through.

Not really.... I just want to be a mod because i just think it would be fun as a lil side job for me and how i'm always on the forums 24/7. I sleep in the UFC forum. It's like my second home.

Also the main reason is for a stalker named drinklime, and if you don't know anything about him then i suggest you get informed before saying i have an agenda. That's not the case at all.

I just have tons of free time in my life and i really like doing these type of things and i just want a chance. I doubt it happens anyways.

But that is an agenda lol.

I wanted to become a mod so I could get a red name and suppress OSU's fan uprising, here. We all have our agendas...

But it's really not. I think you all are misunderstanding me and the things i like to do in my life. These type of jobs are what i like to do. I just thought it would be cool to be a mod and a hardcore ufc forum members who is now the #1 ranked ufc fighter in the world on ps4.

I just want a chance that's all, Getting turned down over and over bugs me, but i'm still asking. I think people assume if i become a mod i'm going to go crazy with power when i'll actually be more calm and professional.

I just want a chance that is all and if i do a horrible job then take it away from me....but just give me a chance. I'm not a bad dude at all.

You've been on this forum less than a year, You gotta put the time in. Think of OS like a company, there's multiple users that have been here a long time that really know this community.

Personally, I would be extremely suspicious of anyone who who seeks a lateral move with supervisory duties. I just promoted two guys at my company, neither of them actively seeked the promotion, I just knew they were the best. It sounds like you have an axe to grind and that is a giant red flag.

I think people assume you're not qualified to be a mod based off of your past activity on the site. You've only been a member for a year and it wasn't exactly a Dak Prescott-esque rookie season.

I'm sure constantly pleading your case does you no favors either.

This is just my personal advice so take it with a grain of salt, but in my opinion, the best way to become a mod is to (in no particular order)

a) be active and a good member of the board

b) know the TOS

c) help us out by reporting posts, showing that you know the TOS and are a team player

d) don't be a problem poster

Other than that it's just one of those things where "you don't come to us, we come to you. Typically people don't normally request to be a mod and become one. Most of the time Mill will seek them out and ask them if they want to be a mod instead. If they do the above, then they're likely to get noticed sooner rather than later, but each situation is different.

Good luck and please continue to report posts in the future so that we can keep the UFC forum readable for everyone. Thanks.

Don't be discouraged. You're intentions are in the right place. Everything I'm about to say is meant 100% as suggestions and not criticism.

Being a mod isn't about "asking to be a mod."

There is a lot more to it. So just a couple suggestions.


First and foremost, don't accuse other mods of being lazy. I really would have thought that went without saying but apparently not. We all have our separate lives outside of the website and it's impossible to know what's going on in each of our lives.

Mods disagree with each other all the time. That's what makes it a good moderating team. We all keep each other honest.

That said, we all respect each other. And I'm sorry, any respect I've earned for you since you've joined and had your troubles was wiped away when you said that.



To be a mod you have to show that you can be impartial, you've only been here a short period of time, do you think the sample size for you is long enough for anyone to know if you are acting impartial or not?


Avatars. How many times have I had to either privately PM you or publicly tell you to change your avatar. If you want to be a mod, you have to show that you can actually follow the rules you are enforcing and your track record at the moment isn't very good since I again yesterday had to ask you to change your avatar.


Stop bumping the thread to say you want to be a mod. Mill knows. As others have said, if the time comes that he is comfortable making you a mod, he will reach out to you.

Your interest is known.



Stop deleting every post. You need to own what you've said right or wrong. Taking ownership to mistakes is something a mod needs to be able to do because we do make them. Plus, I'll let you in on a secret, mods can still see deleted posts.


Now that you know how, report posts. It's the best way to "audition" to be a mod if you will. We would have a better understanding of what you see to be against the TOS and what you don't.


You're a good guy. Stop toeing the line with your avatars. I'm not sure why I've had to say that to you for over a year at this point. Become a part of the community.

When you first got here you hated this site and made that clear, you have to understand how that has resonated with other long time users as well. Have patience, take part in conversations and you'll be fine. You never know what can happen, maybe one day you will be a mod. Right now there are some changes you really need to try and make.
