What do red X's mean as pictures..

there are many times that i want to view a picture, but i get a red X in a box.. there is no way that i can view it.. what does it mean?

you can try right clicking it, selecting "Properties", and then copy the Address URL into a new browser window...sometimes images don't link right into forums, but if it's still a red x in the new window then that means the image isn't there
