He was just telling you to trace route (tracert) the name, thus giving you the IP address of the site you ran a trace route on.

You could do that or open a DOS prompt and type nslookup www.operationsports.com.

You can also just do ping www.operationsports.com from the DOS prompt and it will give you the IP address as well.

Note that's not the forums. Main site and forums are two different servers.

Using the IP address..

I log-in, then when it's supposed to be taking me to the forums or whatever, it logs me back out. Any suggestions?
