    Career Mode Deep Dive

    Where do I even begin!

Manager Career is getting a ton of love, Player Career...not so much.

Essentially, Player Career is getting a few new options at mode start, a redesigned progression system, and an upgrade to training sessions. That's it.

So, new stuff to wade through in the menus between matches, and a new look for something that tends to be a copy-paste once you get A's on the best sessions.

No word on presentation parity, no upgrades to the Player Agent...look, I know EA thinks Player Career lifers are right next door to red-headed stepchildren, but COME. ON.

Short version is that FC 26 is now a PASS for me, until I confirm, post launch, that at the very least, Full Match Intros are back in the mode for the first time since FC 24.

The "unexpected events" feauture, along with the seperation of authentic gameplay from competitive/online, has the potential to give single-player gameplay enough randomness and variety to be worthwhile. It's been a tough go the last few (dozen lol) years getting past the first few weeks or months and not hitting a wall of monotony.

NASCAR 25 is doing something similar. The "Chance" and "Community Chest" cards, after a fashion, are there to make each career a unique run.

I wish Player Career had gotten something similarly dramatic, but nooooo.
