6 games left for manu. 1 point behind chelsea. I have an easier schedule than Chelsea, but they dont lose and we are struggling to score more than once.

In the fa cup semis. Playing newcastle.

Semis of the cgampions league. We got atletico madrid. The two german powers are on the other side.

Re: How is your FIFA 14 NG Manager Mode going?

My first season as manager for Peterborough United is nearing the end, We're nervously sitting in 2nd spot.
      1. Wolverhampton - 93
      2. Peterborough - 77
      3. Coventry City - 75
      4. Leyton Orient - 73
      5. Bristol City - 70
      6. Preston - 69

I'm thinking with a promotion i might off-load a few players in the off-season...Here are some candidate's that could get sold this coming off-season.

Michael Bostwick - Peterborough's highest rated player, holds an overall of 70 tho he will be 26 and one of the oldest players on this team, Has started every match this season and been extremely solid at CB position but with young rising talented players on the list, playing time has to be valued experience. Bostwick's value is listed at $1,600,000 ,very tempting to dangle him on the transfer list at season's end although his Strength,Leadership and Experience could be valuable if Peterborough get promoted!

Craig Alcock - Again with younger talent coming through the ranks Alcock may struggle to find a regular starting spot next season, He has been a solid player this season splitting time with Mark Little at RB, Alcock is currently listed as a 66 overall and with $475,000 value. Craig Alcock isn't part of my long term plans and has complained about playing time this season. He doesn't have much to offer as far as his skill-set with 80 balance being the highest, Alcock will be 27 next season so I don't expect much more improvement out of him. Alcock will most likely be sold this off-season.

Danny Swanson - 27 years old, 65 Overall, Swanson cost's me $6000 a week in wages, and McQuid and Mendez-Laing cost me $4000 a week for pretty much the same production. I don't really have a need to keep Swanson on the list though he has shown to have nice Ball Control, Balance and Agility. Swanson's value is currently listed at $4,500,000 and will most likely be sold this season with 22 year old Daniel Mendez-Laing returning from loan at Brighton.

Manu lost in the semis to newcastle.

Lost to atletico madrid 3-2 but got 2 away goals. Not the worst result ever.

Chelsea finally lost to liverpool. That leaves the epl title open for us. Finally started to score with a 5-0 win so we are about even on goal differential. Played welbeck outside a little and he scored. Michael Carrick is outplaying everyone as a super sub. Tempted to start him over kagawa or fellaini. Both had great parts of the season, but carrick is great right now.

Beat atletico 2-0 to move to the champions league final against bayern munich.

Took out Kagawa for Janujaz. Kid played amazingly. Controlled midfield with Fellaini. Switched to 5 defenders and got a goal right after half to make it 2-0.

What would be a good team for someone like me to choose for Manager Mode? Someone like me meaning that I don't know much about soccer, I'm new to FIFA games, I was born and raised in the USA but am ~50% British (parent born in England.)

so you want a team that is already good so you don't have to do many transfers and already have a lot of money?

This game on anything higher than professional difficulty is such BS!

I finally picked up a XB1 with FIFA and started a CM with Everton on Legendary. I could handle Legendary on 360 for most games, so I thought XB1 would be similar. Well, I was fired from Everton after about 12 games and took a job offer with Crystal Palace. My objective was to avoid relegation and I bumped it down to WC, so I thought I should be fine.

In the months of January-March my league record is 2-4-6, and I'm currently on a 6 match winless streak. My last game against Sunderland produced this result.

The CPU scored the most ridiculous, unrealistic goal ever. I hit a line drive clearance off a cross, the CPU intercepts it from about 5 yards away and hits a screaming volley for a goal. I've also probably won a header from a corner about 3 times all season. For some reason I can't head the ball to save my life on XB1.

It's absurd how frustrating this game can be in career mode on WC or Legendary.

I dont want to sound harsh, but theres something youre not doing. The game does get ridiculous at times, I fully agree, but on legendary youre generally scored on when the ai is penalizing you for poor play. Not scoring too many obvious chances, poor passing and other things can result directly to a goal for the cpu.

I find passing it around, maintaining possession and waiting for openings is the best way to score on legendary.

Into my second year with Peterborough, after a promotion it's been a very tough start!. Also i noticed in my newsfeed that Wigan Athletic had a financial take over...be interesting to see that take affect!...Has anybody else seen CPU teams have a financial take-over?

Ya I've seen it a few teams. And each time the team that has the story about them usually ends up being in the top of the table end of the season. Usually one of the top 6 teams. I've seen it happen start of season and in December. You'll seem them pull in some big guys during the window too if you pay attention to the transfers. Not stars, but they'll buy 3-4 guys in the 8-12 million range to boost the team.

Won the epl with manu. Was tied with chelsea on the last day but with a plus 2 gd.

Beat southhampton 3-0. Rooney was assisted by rvp early on and rvp scored on an awesome cross from shaw.

We have bayern munich in the cl finals and then on to the wc.

Does my budget carry over to next year. We have 100 million saved up.
